Job summary

The Macedonian Community Welfare Association (MCWA) in Bundoora, VIC, seeks a qualified Physiotherapist to join our in-home aged care team serving the Melbourne area. You will perform holistic client assessments, develop care plans and exercise programs, and monitor progress to support independent living.

We value compassionate, client-centred care, strong communication and teamwork, and you must hold physiotherapy registration with AHPRA, a current Police Check, and a valid driver's license to

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Current Police Check.
• Driver's license and access to a reliable car.
• Understanding of Duty of Care and confidentiality.
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

MCWA is an in-home aged care provider with 40 years experience that focuses on supporting the multicultural ageing and elderly communities in Australia. We are currently seeking a Physiotherapist to work in Southern Suburbsto join our team.

This is a fulfilling opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapists who are passionate about community based home care that really make a positive difference to the ageing and elderly.

About the Role:

• Provide holistic assessments of clients identifying physiotherapy needs, provide initial assessments, physiotherapy planning and create care plans
• Building client rapport and providing amazing customer service
• Develop and implement exercise programs and report changes in client’s health status
• Ensure a high quality of service and safety of all clients all around Melbourne
• While performing the duties of this position you will be expected to engage with clients and ensure they feel comfortable through relationship building and quality care.
