Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Home Care team in Western Sydney, including Kellyville, Blacktown and Parramatta regions. You will deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care to help older Australians stay independent at home.

You will join a supportive group guided by our Well-Living approach, working with a multidisciplinary team to empower clients and their families.

Qualifications

• A degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings.
• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated computer literacy and reliable driver's license is implied by home-care context.

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions for aged care clients.
• Focus on reablement and restorative care to maintain or regain independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Western Sydney sites.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Western Sydney - Kellyville, Blacktown, Parramatta and surrounds. You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.

About You

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy

• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
