BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Canberra home care team, delivering evidence‑based assessments and interventions to support older Australians living at home. You will work within the Well‑Living® approach to promote independence, mobility, and confidence, with flexible, supportive team environments and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings.
• Strong understanding of reablement and restorative care.
• Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; computer literacy.
• Current first aid certificate and unrestricted driver's licence.

About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Canberra and surrounding areas. You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.

About You:

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy

• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
