Job summary

TechSpace on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Repair Technician to join our Robina team. This is a hands-on bench role diagnosing and repairing phones, tablets and laptops for walk-in customers with the tools and support to do the job properly.

You’ll work across our Robina and Burleigh Heads stores, demonstrate strong troubleshooting, provide honest advice, and log jobs in our repair system. The role offers a clear path to team lead for the right person and a competitive base salary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience repairing mobile phones.
• Confident with iPhone and Samsung screen and battery replacements.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good with customers: clear, patient and honest about what can and can't be fixed.
• Reliable and organised, comfortable managing your own queue of jobs.
• Able to work at either Robina or Burleigh Heads store as needed.

Responsibilities

TechSpace is a Gold Coast phone and device repair business with stores at Robina Town Centre and Stockland Burleigh Heads. We're looking for an experienced Repair Technician to join our Robina team.

This is a hands-on bench role. You'll spend your day diagnosing and repairing phones, tablets and laptops for walk-in customers, with the tools, parts and support to do the job properly.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience repairing mobile phones (more is welcome)
• Confident with iPhone and Samsung screen and battery replacements
• Strong troubleshooting skills – you work out what's actually wrong, not just swap parts
• Good with customers: clear, patient and honest about what can and can't be fixed
• Reliable and organised, comfortable managing your own queue of jobs
• Able to work at either our Robina or Burleigh Heads store as needed

Nice to have (not essential)

• Micro-soldering or board-level repair
• MacBook and laptop repair experience
• Experience with RepairDesk or a similar repair-shop POS
