Job summary

National Library of Australia – Parkes ACT is seeking an APS5 Coordinator, Foundation and Friends to support the Philanthropy section and the National Library Foundation. You will manage the Library’s relationship with the Friends, providing governance and event support to engage donors and supporters, ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership.

We are looking for a confident communicator with strengths in collaboration, administration, and financial management, and eligibility requires

Qualifications

• Qualifications or equivalent experience in business, arts, humanities, or a related discipline.
• Experience in philanthropic fundraising, community relations, partnership management, event delivery, or working with committees.
• Australian citizenship required to be eligible for APS employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Library’s Philanthropy section and for National Library Foundation.
• Manage the Library’s relationship with the Friends of the National Library of Australia Inc (Friends) including governance, communications and events.
• Support patrons and donors to foster ongoing relationships and effective engagement by the Library and its Friends.
