Job summary

National Library of Australia in Canberra is seeking an APS5 Coordinator, Exhibitions in the Outreach and Exhibitions Section. The role focuses on administration, development and delivery of the Library’s exhibition program, with emphasis on curatorial research and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

You will contribute to stakeholder engagement, volunteers coordination and financial administration to support the Library’s ongoing exhibitions and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to the delivery of exhibitions in libraries, museums, galleries or cultural institutions.
• Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Arts, Humanities, Curatorship, Social Sciences or Museum Studies valued.
• Experience with volunteers, project management and financial administration would enhance your application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the administration, development and delivery of the National Library’s exhibition program.
• Develop exhibition content through curatorial research and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and support volunteers and financial processes.
