Job summary

Calvary Mater Newcastle is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a temporary part-time role (48 hours per fortnight). You will join a dedicated pharmacy team providing technical support across the full range of pharmacy services.

The position requires Certificate IV in Pharmacy Technician or equivalent, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team. Salary: $39.22–$42.99 per hour plus super and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate IV, or equivalent
• Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a high level of competency
• Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

Salary Classification - Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 Yr 1-4

Remuneration - $39.22 to $42.99 per hour + super + annual leave loading + salary packaging options

As a Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for providing the Pharmacy Department’s technical support across the full range of pharmacy services provided by the Calvary Mater Newcastle Pharmacy.

About You

• Successful completion of nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate IV, or has qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer
• Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a high level of competency
• Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work
