Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Sydney Adventist Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Supply Officer for a part-time role (15 hours over two days) on a 5-day rotating roster. You’ll ensure medications, fluids and supplies are available, collaborating with pharmacy, nursing and allied health teams to support safe patient care and hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in medication scanning, ordering and handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Solid IT skills with pharmacy software and ordering systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Understanding of medication supply importance in patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Stock management: ordering, replenishment, inventory control and audits.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, nursing and allied health teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Contribute to safety-focused continuous improvement initiatives and ensure manual handling practices are followed.
