Job summary

Croydon North Discount Pharmacy in Croydon North, VIC is hiring a Part-Time Dispensary Technician to join a friendly team. The role is 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) with additional hours possible for the right candidate.

You will assist with dispensing under supervision, prepare DAAs, and support the dispensary's stock and organisation while delivering excellent customer service in a busy community pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Experience with dispensing software and pharmacy systems.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy role.
• Ability to work 3 days per week with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing: assist with dispensing and assembling prescriptions under supervision.
• Webster packing / DAAs: prepare and pack accurately.
• Customer service: take prescriptions and assist customers with queries.
• Dispensary organisation: manage stock and keep the dispensary tidy.

About the role

We’re looking for a Dispensary Technician to join our team in Croydon North, Melbourne.

The position is 3 days per week — ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Dispensing: Assisting with dispensing and assembling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Webster packing / Dose Administration Aids: Preparing and packing DAAs accurately and efficiently.
• Customer service: Receiving prescriptions, assisting with enquiries and working closely with the wider pharmacy team.
• Dispensary organisation: Managing stock, unpacking orders, checking expiry dates and keeping the dispensary organised.

About you

This role would suit an experienced pharmacy technician or someone with relevant pharmacy experience looking to develop their dispensary skills.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work.
• Is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy pharmacy.
• Communicates well and enjoys helping customers and supporting colleagues.
• Has experience with dispensing software and pharmacy systems, or is willing to learn.

Experience with Fred Dispense PLUS and Webster packing using Webstercare will be highly regarded, with training available for the right person.
