Job summary

Priceline Pharmacy Oxley is seeking a Full Time Dispense Technician (or experienced Pharmacy Assistant seeking to upskill) to join our team. You will assist the Pharmacist with dispensing and verification, handle NHS claim processing, and stay current with PBS requirements.

The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of S2/S3/S4 medications, and strong communication with customers. Roster is Tuesday to Saturday, with opportunities to support in multiple pharmacy areas.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or Cert II with dispensary experience
• Strong understanding of S2, S3, and S4 medications
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Highly organized and methodical approach to tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in medication dispensing and verification

• Stay updated on PBS legislative requirements affecting the pharmacy/dispensary
• Maintain dispensary stock levels and implement loss prevention strategies
• Provide support in various pharmacy areas when needed

• Assist the Pharmacist in medication dispensing and verification
• Manage NHS claim processing efficiently
• Stay updated on PBS legislative requirements affecting the pharmacy/dispensary
• Maintain dispensary stock levels and implement loss prevention strategies
• Provide support in various pharmacy areas when needed
• Assist with MPS and Webster packing

Skills and Qualifications:

• Be able to help the pharmacist take and handle prescriptions and be familiar with the 'Fred' Dispense and office programs.
• Ideally hold a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or Cert II with dispensary experience
• Must have thorough understanding of S2, S3, and S4 medications
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Highly organized and methodical approach to tasks
