Job summary

HealthSmart Pharmacy in Melbourne is seeking a full-time pharmacy assistant with exceptional customer service to join our team. You will handle receiving prescriptions, assist customers with Pharmacy Only medicines and health products, and support pharmacists with stock management.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, based in our hospital precinct and serving Alfred hospital staff and outpatient clinics. Parking options are available and a friendly, reliable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy assistant role requiring strong customer service and ability to assist patients.

• S2/3 accreditation desirable; assistance to complete course available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a full time pharmacy assistant with exceptional customer service skills to join the team. If you like assisting patients with their healthcare needs and building rapport with our many customers, then this is the job for you.

The role involves receiving prescriptions from patients, assisting them with Pharmacy Only medicines and other health related products, assisting the pharmacists and all other aspects of stock management within a pharmacy. This is predominantly a customer service role.

This is a full time position Monday to Friday.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A strong working knowledge of FRED Point of Sale is preferable but pharmacy experience is essential.

S2/3 accreditation is highly desirable. Applicants without S2/3 will be assisted to complete the course.

A willingness to take on challenges and a positive attitude are a must. We need a friendly, reliable person who can work well in a busy environment.

You will be required to be competent in all areas of a Community Pharmacy.
