Job summary

United Chemists Taylors Hill is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to support our store team in delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the Retail Manager to ensure smooth store operations and a welcoming environment for customers.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in choosing products, managing merchandising and stock, processing transactions, and helping with stock deliveries. Evening availability is preferred to meet store needs and support the team.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy or retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to handle cash and operate registers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with accurate ticketing.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the business.
• Available to work in evenings.

About the Role

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive and seamless experience for every customer who visits our store. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with the Retail Manager to ensure the store operates efficiently while delivering outstanding service. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where no two days are the same.

You will:

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the right products for their needs
• Build positive relationships with customers and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere
• Maintain visually appealing shelves and displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment
• Ensure accurate pricing and clear product ticketing
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately at the register
• Assist with stock management, including receiving and organising deliveries

Ideally, you will have:
