Good Price Pharmacy Albion Park Rail is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfil a full-time or part-time role as Pharmacy Assistant. Responsibilities include customer service, inventory control, and assisting with prescription procedures in a friendly, professional environment.

Experience in retail and pharmacy is preferred. Proficiency with EFTPOS, POS systems, and stock management is required, with readiness to adapt to new software.

• Operating cash registers and EFTPOS machines.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
• Inventory control; ordering and rotating stock, as well as managing and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Assist retail manager in daily tasks.
• Keeping accurate records of inventory and sales.
• Answering phone calls and assisting with enquiries.
• Assist with prescription procedures: eg. taking scripts in and serving scripts out

About the role:

Good Price Pharmacy Albion Park Rail is seeking a highly motivated individual(s) to fulfil a full-time or part-time role as Pharmacy Assistant.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for assisting with inventory control, management of paperwork and invoicing, and serving customers. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Requirements:

• Ability to work full-time or part-time hours
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficient in using inventory management software; POS Works, and dispensary software; LOTS Dispensary (or ability to adapt efficiently to new software, if inexperienced)

Skills and Experience:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous retail and customer service experience (preferred)
• Community pharmacy experience (preferred)
• EFTPOS, point of sale and cash handling experience (essential)
• Certificate II, III, or IV in Community Pharmacy and/or completion of the qualification of Support the Supply of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacists' Only Medicines (S2&S3) (preferred but not essential)
