Job summary

Star Discount Chemist North Ward is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant on a part-time basis. You will deliver excellent customer care, provide health and beauty product advice, assist with prescription submissions, and help with invoicing and stock control.

Qualifications

• Friendly, engaging personality with a passion for customer service.
• Previous experience in pharmacy or retail is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Professional presentation and customer-first attitude expected.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available Monday–Friday 8:30 am–5 pm.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping us deliver exceptional customer care. In this role, you'll:

Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on health and beauty products.

Assist customers with prescription submissions to our pharmacists.

Invoicing and stocktaking

Operate the point of sale and manage cash handling.

Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Promote current sales and product offerings to customers.
