Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) seeks a communicative, efficient pharmacist for a part-time, 48hrs/fortnight, 12-month role alongside the current Medication Safety and Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist.

You will educate colleagues and patients, supervise interns, monitor medication safety and antimicrobial stewardship risks, and contribute to quality improvement and research within the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Part-time 48hrs/fortnight for 12 months (job-sharing with incumbent).
• Education to colleagues, other health professionals and patients.
• Supervise intern pharmacists and pharmacy students.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report medication safety and antimicrobial stewardship risks and performance.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and research.
• Oversee audit and incident response via Riskman, ensure compliance with standards.
