Job summary

Only Health in Central Queensland is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead a community pharmacy. The role offers a salary package of $195k–$200k AUD, plus a $15k rental allowance, with Monday–Friday hours and no weekends.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, dispense using Z Dispense, and drive patient care while building strong community relationships. Start date flexible; relocation sponsorship may be considered.

• Holds current AHPRA general registration as a pharmacist.

Salary Package: $195,000–$200,000 including salary, super and $15,000 rental allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Lunch: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Software: Z Dispense
Start Date: Flexible start available – ideally in the role by January 2027

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Pharmacist Manager to join our community pharmacy in Central Queensland.

We are flexible with the commencement date for the right person, however we would ideally like someone to be in the role by January 2027. An earlier start can also be accommodated.

About the role

As Pharmacist Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, including:

• Dispensing and checking prescriptions using Z Dispense

• Providing high-quality patient care and professional pharmacy services

• Managing stock and pharmacy operations

• Maintaining pharmacy standards and regulatory compliance

• Supporting and leading the pharmacy team

• Building relationships with our regular patients and the local community

• Helping grow professional services and the pharmacy business

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds current AHPRA general registration as a pharmacist

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Is confident working independently

• Is reliable and takes ownership of their role

• Has good leadership and organisational skills

• Enjoys working in community pharmacy and building relationships with patients

Previous Pharmacist Manager or PIC experience would be an advantage, however experienced pharmacists looking to step into a management role are also encouraged to apply.
