Job summary

QLD Progressive Health in Stones Corner, Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist or confident early career Pharmacist. Permanent Part-time or casual roles are available.

The role involves dispensing and administering QOTP medications, including long-acting injections, dispensing Medicinal Cannabis, and case management of QOTP clients.

You will work with prescribers and other support workers to achieve positive health outcomes, in a collaborative team with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy + current AHPRA registration (no restrictions).
• QOTP experience preferred or interest in learning.
• Vaccination accreditation preferred but not essential.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing Medicinal Cannabis
• Case management of QOTP clients
• Working with Prescribers and other support workers to achieve positive health outcomes for clients
• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously with great attention to detail

Are you a Pharmacist looking for a fresh start or a new challenge?

We’re a small, boutique PBS pharmacy located in Stones Corner specialising in drugs of addiction and addiction care and medicinal cannabis treatments. Our clinic offers treatment and support involving opioid replacement medications, including the long acting injectables, counselling, and practical support to individuals who are struggling with opioid addictions and related issues. Our Pharmacists dispense and administer medications prescribed by our resident clinicians as well as other off site prescribers in the community. Our Pharmacists are also involved in scheduling appointments with our onsite prescribers and allied health professionals. We are looking to expand our multidisciplinary team currently consisting of pharmacists, nurse practitioners and specialised GP's.
