Discount Drug Stores in Toowoomba is seeking a Pharmacist to join our progressive, multidisciplinary health hub on a part-time or casual basis. You will enhance patient care through clinical services and strong patient interactions within a collaborative healthcare team.

We value experience in community pharmacy, commitment to quality care, and the ability to work at least two Saturdays per month. The role offers flexible hours and a supportive environment focused on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently registered with AHPRA as a Pharmacist.
• Pharmacist with eligible registration and current practice rights.
• Experience in delivering patient-centred care in a community/pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Pharmacist – Part-Time / Casual

We are looking for a passionate and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time or casual basis, supporting our patients and contributing to our growing range of clinical and community health services.

A commitment to working at least 2 Saturdays per month is required.

The Opportunity

As a Service Pharmacist, you will play an important role in supporting our patients and delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

This is an opportunity for a Pharmacist who enjoys patient interaction, clinical services and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Your role may include:

• Providing high-quality, patient-centred pharmacy care
• Supporting clinical pharmacy services and patient consultations
• Working collaboratively with our Nurse Practitioners, pharmacists and wider healthcare team
• Supporting medication management and pharmacy services
• Building strong and trusted relationships with our patients
• Supporting efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations
• Contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture
• Maintaining QCPP and regulatory compliance
• Supporting the continued development of our clinical services

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Currently registered with AHPRA as a Pharmacist
• Patient-focused and committed to providing excellent healthcare
• Confident communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals
• Clinically minded with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively within a team
• Interested in developing their clinical skills and knowledge
• Comfortable working in a progressive pharmacy environment
• Available to work at least 2 Saturdays per month
• Eligible to work in Australia – no sponsorship available

Previous experience in clinical pharmacy services is desirable, but we are also interested in Pharmacists who are motivated to expand their skills and experience.
