Job summary

Petbarn Tuggeranong is seeking a talented Pet Stylist/Groomer to join our team. The role requires 1 year of professional grooming experience, with the ability to complete all grooming tasks without supervision and strong dog handling skills.

You will work under a Grooming Development Manager and have opportunities to progress and access formal training. We offer a stable income year-round, staff discounts, uniform and equipment provided, and bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional grooming experience is required.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed/coat types.
• Ability to provide consultation, quoting, bookings, invoicing, ordering and operational tasks.
• Ability to manage operations and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services for clients and maintain high standards.
• Provide consultations, quotes and booking info to clients.
• Handle invoicing and ordering; manage stock and equipment.
• Support operations and lead a small grooming team.
• Maintain excellent customer service and breed knowledge.

What do we need?

• 1 years of professional grooming experience
• The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques equipment and breed/coat types
• The ability to provide consultation quoting, bookings, invoicing ordering and operational tasks
• Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management
• Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day
• The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
