Job summary

Petbarn in Kangaroo Flat is seeking an experienced Grooming Salon Manager to lead our salon team and deliver high-quality grooming services across breeds. You will clip and style across breeds, train and develop staff, and manage all salon operations, quotes, bookings and invoicing.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Strong customer service approach and dog handling skills.
• Breed/coat knowledge and grooming techniques across breeds.
• Capability to provide consultation, quotes, bookings, invoicing and operational tasks.
• Experience in operations and team management; oversee salon activities.

We have an amazing opportunity for a talented and experienced Pet Stylist looking to become a Grooming Salon Manager at Petbarn in our salon in Kangaroo Flat.

As a Salon Manager you must be able to clip and scissor across all breeds and train and develop a passionate team.

What do we need?

3 years of professional grooming experience

The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision

Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques equipment and breed/coat types

The ability to provide consultation quoting, bookings, invoicing ordering and operational tasks

Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management

Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day

The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
