Job summary

Petbarn in Mittagong is seeking a talented Grooming Salon Manager with extensive grooming experience to lead and develop a team. The role includes managing grooming services, client bookings, invoicing and operations while maintaining high standards of care for all breeds.

You will supervise the grooming team, participate in the trial process and help grow the salon’s capabilities with supportive leadership and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment and breed/coat types.
• Ability to provide consultation, quoting, bookings, invoicing and ordering.
• Ability to manage operations and lead a grooming team.
• Complete 6–8 grooming services per day.
• Strong customer service and dog-handling skills.

As a Salon Manager you must be able to clip and scissor across all breeds and train and develop a passionate team.

What do we need?

• 3 years of professional grooming experience
• The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques equipment and breed/coat types
• The ability to provide consultation quoting, bookings, invoicing ordering and operational tasks
• Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management
• Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day
• The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
