Job summary

Petstock Angle Vale is seeking a passionate Groomer to join our NEW STORE team. You will provide outstanding grooming services to our dog customers, support the Senior Groomer, and help create memorable interactions with every visitor.

You will handle dogs of various temperaments, assist with bookings, and contribute to a safe, friendly shopping environment. A relevant qualification is preferred but not essential, with weekend availability and a strong willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• A passion for animals and providing the best customer service.
• Confident around dogs with lots of different personalities.
• Willing to learn and work hard to become the best Groomer.
• Qualification preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a similar environment.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20 kgs.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding grooming services.
• Support the Senior Groomer in completing daily grooming tasks.
• Bathe and brush dogs prior to grooming.
• Assist store floor team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Coordinate customer bookings in the grooming salon.
• Ensure safe handling and transfer of animals within the store.
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset in the grooming area.
