Job summary

PETstock Belmont WA Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Groomer to join our Petstock team in Australia. You will provide grooming services, assist the Senior Groomer with daily tasks, and ensure safe handling and compassionate care for our dog clients.

The role requires a passion for animals, ability to work around dogs, and a drive to excel in grooming while delivering excellent customer service and supporting shop floor activities.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused grooming mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to handle dogs with varying temperaments.
• Motivated to progress in grooming career.
• Relevant grooming qualification preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a similar environment is a plus.
• Physically fit with ability to lift up to 20 kg.
• Available to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding grooming services
• Support the Senior Groomer in completing daily grooming tasks
• Bathe and brush dogs prior to grooming
• Assist store shop floor team with customer service
• Coordinate customer bookings in the grooming salon
• Ensure safe handling and transfer of animals within the store
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales goals
• Maintain a culture of safety within the team
