Job summary

The Digital Stronghold is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Perth, WA Pedal Mafia store. You will lead on the shop floor, manage stock flow, and support both Retail and Custom orders while delivering exceptional customer service.

You’ll drive merchandising standards, coach the team, and take the lead during the Store Manager’s absence, with a Tuesday–Saturday roster and a focus on cycling community engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years retail experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in premium apparel, sporting goods, or specialty retail is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory, order, and shipping processes is desirable.
• Strong merchandising and store presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication and comfort with MS Office/Apple devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead shop-floor experiences, train and coach the team, and cover Store Manager duties when needed.
• Manage inbound/outbound deliveries, stock checks, and order tracking across Retail and Custom.
• Support customer service, including returns, exchanges, and order progress updates.
• Oversee stock storage, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
• Contribute to in-store events, launches, and social content ideas.
