Job summary

Pedal Mafia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Perth store, leading the team on the shop floor while managing product flow and orders behind the scenes.

You will own deliveries, stock, and shipping for Retail and Custom, while driving sales and delivering outstanding customer experiences. This role requires hands‑on leadership, strong cycling product knowledge, and a Tuesday–Saturday roster in-store.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' retail experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in premium apparel, sporting goods, or specialty retail.
• Experience with inventory management, order processing, and shipping/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experiences on the shop floor using product knowledge and POS systems.
• Support Custom clients in-store and guide them through processes and updates.
• Lead from the floor during shifts to hit sales goals across Retail and Custom.
• Own inbound deliveries: receiving, checking, and putting away stock.
• Own outbound deliveries and shipping for orders, including packing and dispatch.
• Track orders from receipt to delivery and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Coordinate handovers of Custom orders between store, team, and customers.
• Keep the store merchandised and stockroom organized, safe, and presentable.
• Monitor inventory, assist replenishment, and support stock counts.
• Lead opening/closing, cash handling, and loss-prevention practices.
• Coach and train the team; lead the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Contribute to community events, launches, and in-store activities.
• Support social channels with content ideas and updates.
