Job summary

Pedal Mafia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Perth, WA store. You’ll lead on the shop floor, support the Store Manager, and coordinate in-store and online order flows, deliveries, and stock management.

The role blends hands-on customer service with team leadership, inventory control, visual merchandising, and events to engage the local cycling community. You’ll work Tuesday to Saturday with a proactive sales and service approach.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' retail experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in premium apparel or specialty retail is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experience on the shop floor using product knowledge and POS systems.
• Support Custom clients in-store and keep them updated on order progress.
• Lead from the floor during shifts to help hit sales goals across Retail and Custom.
• Own inbound deliveries: receiving, checking, and stocking.
• Own outbound deliveries and shipping for online, retail, and Custom orders.
• Track orders from receipt to delivery and follow up on delays.
• Maintain store presentation, stockroom organization, and safety.
• Lead opening/closing and coaching of the team; cover in the manager's absence.
