Job summary

Regis Resources, a Western Australia-based gold producer, seeks a Corporate Senior Underground Mine Engineer to join the Technical Services team in Subiaco. You will lead medium- and long-term underground plans, mentor site engineers, and drive safety and efficiency improvements across multiple operations.

You will collaborate with operations, geology and maintenance to optimise production, manage risks and support continuous improvement in a zero-harm environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or related discipline.
• Underground mining experience with hard rock gold operations preferable.
• Experience in underground mine planning and production optimisation.
• Proficiency with Deswik, Surpac or Vulcan for mine planning.
• Strong drill and blast design experience.
• Knowledge of Australian mining legislation and industry best practice.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
• Proactive safety, risk management and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Developing, reviewing and optimising medium and long-term underground mine plans.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to site-based engineering teams.
• Identifying opportunities to improve mine design and planning practices.
• Supporting sites in management and mitigation of mining risks.
• Assisting with production forecasting, budgeting and cost optimisation.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.
• Supporting implementation of emerging technologies across operations.
• Collaborating with geology, maintenance, environmental and safety teams.
