Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is looking for a Personal Support Worker in Maroochydore, QLD, to deliver high-quality personal, emotional and social care that supports residents’ dignity and independence.

The fixed-term role runs through to 15 December, with Monday–Friday 3pm–10:30pm shifts (10 shifts per fortnight). You’ll need a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent and Australian Working Rights. Competitive hourly rate with superannuation and shift penalties where applicable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent is required.
• Experience in dementia care is preferred.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
