Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland is seeking a casual Personal Carer at Karinya Residential Aged Care Home in Nanango. You will support Enrolled & Registered Nurses to provide person-centred, high-quality care, including bathing, dressing, toileting and daily living activities for residents.

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (desirable)
• Medication Assist Competency (desirable)
• Understanding of Aged Care and Residents rights and responsibilities
• Dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
• Team oriented with friendly, approachable manner
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
• Flexible availability for days and shift times

Southern Cross Care QLD have an opportunity for you to join our SCCQ family as a casual Personal Carer based at our Karinya Residential Aged Care Home in Nanango.

Working under the direction of the Enrolled & Registered Nurses, as aPersonal Carer you will be providing person-centred, high-quality care to our residents. You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide personal care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual resident's needs.
