Job summary

Southern Cross Care QLD is seeking a casual Personal Carer at our Karinya Residential Aged Care Home in Nanango. You will work under the direction of Enrolled & Registered Nurses to deliver person-centred care, including bathing, dressing and toileting, with compassion and maturity.

Working under the direction of the Enrolled & Registered Nurses, as aPersonal Carer you will be providing person-centred, high-quality care to our residents. You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide personal care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual resident's needs.

What will you bring to the role?

• You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (desirable)
• Medication Assist Competency (desirable)
• You will have an understanding of Aged Care and Residents rights and responsibilities

• You will work well within a team environment and have a friendly approachable manner
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
