Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is seeking caring Home Care Support Workers to assist our aged care clients in their homes around the Western Downs region. You will join a supportive Care Team delivering personal care and daily living assistance with dignity and compassion.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or equivalent.

SCCQ is seeking caring Home Care Support Workers to assist our Aged Care Clients living in their homes in communities around the Western Downs area.

As a SCCQ Support Worker you'll demonstrate empathy and respect and show commitment to providing the highest standard of care possible while in our client’s homes. You will be part of a Care Team where compassion and promoting dignity accompanies the delivery of exceptional personal care and daily living assistance to our clients. What you will bring to the role?

• Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or equivalent.
• Exceptional people & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and to manage your time effectively as you will be required to provide services to multiple clients a day.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
• A current Australian Drivers Licence.
• Own reliable car to use for work with full comprehensive car insurance and current registration (documents showing currency required).
• Availability to work a variety of shift.
