Job summary

BlueCare in Caloundra is seeking a Personal Carer for a permanent part-time night shift (10pm–6am). Salary is $36.32 per hour plus super, salary packaging, penalties, allowances and employee discounts.

You will provide care to residents, help with daily living activities, and work under individualized care plans to support independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Night duty availability is essential for this role.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes and general mobility.
• Provide care in accordance with individualised Care Plan.
• Support with community based recreational and social activities.

About the role:

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Night duty availability is essential for this role
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
