Job summary

BlueCare in Warana is seeking a Personal Carer to support residents in a community-focused aged care facility. You will assist with daily living tasks, follow individualized care plans and help residents engage in social activities to promote independence and quality of life.

The role offers permanent part-time hours, a pay rate of $36.32 per hour plus super, salary packaging options, penalties, allowances and employee discounts. Join a big hearted team making a real difference.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops).
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by policy.

Remuneration: $36.32 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

About the role:

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes and general mobility


• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan


• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification


• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc


• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies


• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
