Job summary

BlueCare Caloundra Residential Aged Care Facility is seeking a dedicated Personal Carer to provide compassionate, person‑centred care to residents, supporting independence and quality of life within our warm home.

You will assist with daily living activities, implement care plans and participate in social and recreational activities, while meeting safety and probity requirements and collaborating with a respectful, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or equivalent.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• NDIS Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain; probity checks as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes and general mobility.
• Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plans.
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities.

About The Role

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role Requirements

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
