Job summary

BlueCare is hiring a Personal Carer to support clients in the Bowen, Proserpine and surrounding areas. You will provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance, helping clients maintain independence and improve quality of life.

The role involves driving between visits and coordinating with Care Plans, with salary packaging and travel allowances included. Essential qualifications include Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent, a current Australian driver’s licence, and a roadworthy

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work is essential.
• Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance (showering, hygiene, meals, cleaning, laundry).
• Support clients to maintain independence and quality of life in their homes.
• Assist with community activities, appointments, and shopping.
• Travel between clients in Bowen, Proserpine and surrounding areas.
