Job summary

BlueCare in Innisfail is seeking a Personal Carer for casual, in-home support across Innisfail and surrounding areas. You will build relationships with clients, perform daily living tasks and help maintain independence in their homes.

The role involves travel between visits, ongoing documentation, and adherence to individual care plans. Prior experience and a current driver’s licence are essential, with flexible hours and casual loading offered.

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent – essential.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence – essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle for work – essential.
• Comfort with using smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care to clients in their own homes.
• Help with daily living activities: showering, hygiene, meals, cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Support independence and mobility per Care Plan.
• Assist with community activities, appointments and shopping.
