Job summary

BlueCare in Hervey Bay seeks a Personal Carer to deliver compassionate in-home care and daily living assistance to clients in the community. You will travel between visits, supporting with daily tasks to enhance independence and quality of life.

Essential qualifications include a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, a valid Australian Driver’s Licence, and a roadworthy vehicle for work. You’ll work part-time across Hervey Bay and surrounding areas with support from a Not-for-Profit

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) (Essential).
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work (Essential).
• Experience with smartphones, tablets, laptops and other tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support independence and improve quality of life for clients.
• Perform tasks like showering, meal prep, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Transport and assist with shopping, appointments and community activities.
