Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Casual Personal Carer to support clients in the Morayfield area, helping them maintain independence and a higher quality of life. You will travel to homes, delivering in‑home care, daily living assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping as outlined in each client's Care Plan.

You’ll work with clients on community activities, provide transportation support for shopping and appointments, and be encouraged to engage with the team to deliver compassionate,

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification (Essential).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work (Essential).
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑home personal care and support independence.
• Spend time visiting clients, delivering one‑on‑one care.
• Assist with daily living tasks: showering, meals, housekeeping.
• Support community activities and accompany appointments.
• Follow individual care plans and ensure safety and dignity.

About the role:

As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities

In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing

Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
