Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is hiring a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in their homes across Redcliffe and surrounding areas. You will provide daily living assistance, home care, and compassionate personal support to help clients maintain independence.

The role involves road-based visits, domestic duties, and transport assistance, with a focus on respectful, person-centred care in the community.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) is essential.
• Vehicle used for work must be roadworthy and insured (Third Party property minimum).
• Experience with smartphones, tablets, laptops or similar devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients in the community, supporting independence and quality of life.
• Conduct scheduled home visits and assist with daily activities.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meals, laundry and ironing.
• Transport and accompany clients to shopping and appointments.

About the role:

As aPersonal Carer Domestic you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
