Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to deliver compassionate community care in the Arundel and Ashmore areas. You will visit clients to support daily living activities, personal care, and mobility, helping them maintain independence in their own homes.

This permanent part-time role includes travel between client sites, with job benefits such as salary packaging, employee discounts, and parental leave policies. A Green Provisional or higher license and a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification – Essential
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work – Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑home personal care and daily living assistance per care plan
• Support client independence and quality of life during scheduled visits
• Assist with daily activities including showering, meal prep, cleaning, laundry
• Provide transportation assistance and accompany clients to appointments or shopping

About the role: As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan Supporting with community based recreational and social activities Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
