Job summary

BlueCare, Beenleigh, is seeking a Personal Carer to join our casual team at Bethania Aged Care Facility. You will support residents with daily living tasks and mobility, while adhering to individual Care Plans to enhance their independence and quality of life.

In this role you will assist with daily activities, participate in recreational events, and contribute to a compassionate, safe, and inclusive care environment.

Qualifications

• Technology experience with smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene and mobility.
• Care planning support based on individualised Care Plan.
• Support with community-based recreational and social activities.

Remuneration: $36.32 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances + Employee discounts

About the role: As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
