Job summary

Medical and Aged Care Group's Traralgon home is seeking a passionate Personal Care Worker to join a friendly, supportive team committed to dignity and independence for residents. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks, monitor wellbeing, and maintain accurate care documentation while working with nurses and the care team in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent is required.
• Experience in aged care is desirable.
• Current Police Check and relevant screening requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Support residents to maintain independence and wellbeing.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.
• Follow infection control and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the care team.

About The Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, independence and choice.

Working Alongside Our Experienced Care Team, You Will

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents


• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living


• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing


• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families


• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing


• Maintain accurate care documentation


• Follow all relevant care, infection control and workplace health and safety requirements


• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team

You Will Have

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
