Job summary

Medical & Aged Care Group in Traralgon is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents with dignity and independence. This permanent part-time role offers a friendly, family-focused workplace and ongoing training.

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, assist with daily living, and collaborate with the care team to promote wellbeing for residents.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Australian working rights required.
• Current Police Check and relevant screening requirements.

We are looking for a passionate Personal Care Worker to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, independence and choice.

Working alongside our experienced care team, you will:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing
• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Follow all relevant care, infection control and workplace health and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team
