Job summary

Traralgon Aged Care is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker for a permanent part-time role in Traralgon, Victoria. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living activities and support residents to maintain independence, working closely with nurses and the care team.

We value compassion, dignity and respect, and offer ongoing training within a family-friendly workplace. Australian working rights and a current Police Check are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent required.
• Current Police Check and screening requirements.
• Australian working rights must be held.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

We are looking for a passionate Personal Care Worker to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, independence and choice.

Working alongside our experienced care team, you will:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing
• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Follow all relevant care, infection control and workplace health and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team

• Previous experience working in aged care is desirable
