Job summary

HenderCare is seeking a casual Support Worker in Adelaide to assist clients with personal care, meal preparation and daily activities, while promoting independence and well-being. You will work 3–4 days with 3‑hour shifts, delivering compassionate, client‑centred care in a supportive team.

Applicants should have a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent, current First Aid/CPR, police and working with children checks, and a valid driver’s license with access to a car.

• Current Provide First Aid Certificate HLTAID012.
• Current Provide CPR Certificate HLTAID009.
• Current Manual Handling Certificate.

• Full Drivers License and access to your own car.

About The Role

As a casual Support Worker, you'll cater to diverse clients, addressing their unique needs and fostering a strong sense of community. This role will have shifts 3 hours in length 3 or 4 days during the week. The Ideal candidates excel in handling multiple shorter shifts, ensuring consistent opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives we support.

About You

We are looking for someone with a caring nature and attributes such as encouragement, attentiveness, adaptability, excellent communication, and strong time management skills. Approaching people empathetically, you will be someone who is understanding and patient towards the needs of others, and passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.

Previous experience in providing personal care and domestic services to people with a disability or within aged care sector is essential to be successful in this role.
