Job summary

HenderCare is seeking a Casual Home and Garden Maintenance worker to support our Aged Care & Disability clients in the Northern Suburbs and Northern Beaches regions of Sydney. You will visit multiple homes to keep them safe and habitable, performing tasks like gutter cleaning and lawn care.

The role is casual, with shifts typically Monday to Friday, offering weekly pay and support through our field staff programs. You will need your own equipment and a current police check to join.

Qualifications

• Must have previous gardening and maintenance experience.
• Own gardening tools and a vehicle.
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's License required.
• Access to UTE/Trailer to transport equipment.
• National Police Check current.
• Working With Children Check (Employee Type) current.

Responsibilities

• Attend multiple clients' homes to perform gutter cleaning and general maintenance.
• Basic window cleaning, oven and fan cleaning.
• Lawn mowing, pruning, weeding and hedge trimming.
• Replacing smoke alarm batteries.
• Minor home maintenance tasks.

HenderCare is seeking a Casual Home and Garden Maintenance worker to join our team on a casual-type basis to support our Aged Care & Disability clients with their homes in the Northern Suburbs and Northern Beaches regions of Sydney.

About The Role

As a Casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker, you will attend multiple clients homes to assist in keeping their homes safe and habitable by minimising environmental health and safety hazards. Tasks include:

• gutter cleaning
• basic window cleaning, oven, fan cleaning
• lawn mowing, pruning, weeding, hedge trimming
• replacing smoke alarm batteries
• minor home maintenance

About You (Must Have)

• Previous gardening and maintenance experience
• Reliable smartphone for AlayaCare App roster access (iOS 15+ or Android 9+)
• Own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle
• Have an unrestricted Australian Driver's License
• Have access to a UTE/Trailer to transport the equipment and tools
• Have a current National Police Check
• Have a current Working With Children Check (Employee Type)
