Job summary

HenderCare is seeking casual Home and Garden Maintenance workers to support Aged Care & Disability clients in Perth. Roles involve lawn mowing, gutter cleaning, pruning and general garden upkeep with shifts typically 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in home and garden maintenance.
• Own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle.
• Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months).
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee-Type).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Own reliable smartphone compatible with AlayaCare App.
• Access to a UTE/Trailer to transport equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing and hedge trimming.
• Clean gutters, windows and perform high cleaning tasks.
• Prune plants and weed gardens.
• Check smoke alarm batteries and replace as needed.
• Change light bulbs and tidying overgrown areas.
• Handle heavy-duty/industrial cleaning where required.

About The Role

As a casual Home & Garden Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for providing services to our clients living in their own homes. Some of the services you will carry out include lawn mowing, gutter cleaning, pruning, weeding, hedge-trimming, checking smoke alarm batteries, cleaning windows and high cleaning (fans, exhausts, vents), changing light bulbs, tidying overgrown gardens, heavy duty/industrial cleaning.

About You

Mandatory Requirements:

• Previous experience providing home & garden maintenance
• Your own reliable smartphone compatible with AlayaCare App for roster access
• Current National Police Check (obtained within the last 12 months)
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee-Type)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Your own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle
• A UTE/Trailer to transport the equipment and tools

Applicants who have experience providing services to the veteran community will be highly regarded.
