Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland – Crows Nest NSW is seeking dedicated Personal Care Workers to join the Residential Aged Care team. You will provide direct personal care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities in line with individual care plans, under the supervision of Registered and Enrolled Nurses.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Personal Care Workers to join our team. Opportunities are available for staff who are willing to work morning (AM) shifts across weekdays and weekends.

In this role, you will provide direct personal care and support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities in line with individual care plans. You will work closely with Registered and Enrolled Nurses, contributing to a safe, respectful and supportive environment for residents.

What you'll be responsible for

• Assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meals
• Supporting residents’ emotional wellbeing and meaningful social engagement
• Maintaining residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality always
• Contributing to a safe, welcoming, and homelike environment
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff

About you

You are a caring and committed and someone who values teamwork and understands the importance of delivering high‑quality, resident‑centred care.

You’ll ideally bring

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts
• Genuine passion for working with elderly residents
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights -Unfortunately we are not offering sponsorship for this role.
