Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland invites applications for Personal Care Workers at Crows Nest, QLD. The role is permanent part-time with morning shifts across weekdays and weekends, focusing on direct personal care and support for residents in line with care plans.

You will work with Registered and Enrolled Nurses to maintain a safe, respectful, and homelike environment while observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work across day, afternoon and night shifts.
• Genuine passion for working with elderly residents.
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Sponsorship not available.

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Personal Care Workers to join our team. Opportunities are available for staff who are willing to work morning (AM) shifts across weekdays and weekends.

In this role, you will provide direct personal care and support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities in line with individual care plans. You will work closely with Registered and Enrolled Nurses, contributing to a safe, respectful and supportive environment for residents.

Key responsibilities include

• Assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meals

About You

You are a caring and committed and someone who values teamwork and understands the importance of delivering high-quality, resident-centred care.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts
• Genuine passion for working with elderly residents
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights -Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
