Job summary

Lady Small Haven Aged Care on the Gold Coast is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker to support older residents with dignity and comfort. You will assist with daily living, mobility, meals, social activities and outings, while contributing to care plans and accurate documentation.

You should have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, strong English communication, and basic computer skills (Outlook).

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience providing direct care within an aged care environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Intermediate computer skills (e.g. Outlook, internet-based systems).
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, social activities and outings.
• Support the development and review of individual care plans and complete accurate documentation and charting.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report changes to nursing and care leadership.
